These two samples are from birds recorded in the vicinity of Cairns ( subsp. macleayana). #134-230 are the brief calls usually given in flight, so easy to overlook in the rainforest as the birds fly like little bullets through the canopy. Sample 134-260 is of a flock of about 100 birds going to roost just on dusk in a Cairns suburb - quite noisy really and readily audible from 100 metres or so distant.
