Bird calls / bird song
Satin Bowerbird

The advertisement call LS110112 is typical of either a two or three syllable call, usually given in the early morning from somewhere near the bower.+++ With call LS110786 the male stands high in a tree in the centre of the territory and continues uttering this loud, harsh advertisement call, all the while turning this way and that to project the sound in different directions, presumably to attract females to the bower.+++ The calling sequence in LS110418 is typical of a male calling close to his bower.
