Pheasant Coucal

These recordings were taken near Mt. Bell in the Kimberleys of W.A. The first two are duets by male and female (she makes the deeper sounds). There is a Peaceful Dove in the background of duet-2. The third sample is of the male by himself. Coucals usually call from a vantage point, often from the crown of a tree and these deep sounds carry a long way.
