Bird calls / bird song
Dusky Gerygone

The Dusky Gerygone is mainly confined to mangroves in Western Australia. Sample 049-316 is a singing bird I recorded at Port Smith. The tidal range is so great in this part of Australia that the incoming tide in the background in the mangroves sounds like a mountain stream. Sample 50B-010 is from a 40 year old tape I made at Barred Creek just north of Broome.
