These are all songs of the Striated Grasswren which is the most wide-ranging Amytornis in Australia. As such, I would have expected more variation in the songs from place to place, but there is little more than you normally get between individuals, or even in the different variations in one individual. Sample 024-250 I recorded on a very windy day at Yathong Nature Reserve in western NSW. Samples 169-050 and 169-170 are of the same bird from Gluepot Reserve just N of Waikerie in S.A.
