Black Currawong
Strepera fuliginosa
(Viewing 4 of 4 photos)

Black Currawongs take the place of The Pied Currawong in Tasmania and on the islands of Bass Strait. When nesting they occupy territories as pairs in forested country. In winter flocks of presumably immatures descend into the more open lowlands and scavenge for food in parks and gardens.
